Anyway, I think the most effective way to prevent file lost due to virus attack or careless is to store the file online. Remember the free 25 GB sky drive given when you applying for the live.monash account? Just use it! Don’t waste~~!
Then you may come out a problem: It is really inconvenient to open the browser, and then log in the live.monash account, and then select the file, and then click the upload button, which has 4 steps in total.
After using our god in doing assignment- googoo, actually there IS a software to help you upload file to sky drive easily (other online storages as well), which simply just need to drag the file to the folder, and the software will then upload the file for you automatically.
Sound fun, right? So let’s have a try~~~
Caution before attempt the method:
(1) You need a sky drive account definitely! If not, just goo-goo and see how to apply one!
(2) Don’t ever set the password for the sky drive account same as your msn password, ATM password, etc etc..to prevent hacking.
(3) You might need a fast internet speed otherwise you may end up in waiting and waiting.
Upload To Windows SkyDrive from Desktop by using Gladinet
1. Go to http://www.gladinet.com/p/download.htm and download the free trial.
2. Scan the .exe with antivirus software first before double click it. (Good habit to prevent virus~!)
3. Install the software. (Don’t tell me you don’t know how to install… )
4. After the software has been installed (choose the FREE 1) and an initial menu screen has appeared, select the “Mount Disk Storage or Web Storage As Virtual Directory”.
5. Select “window live sky drive” from the list, and key in your sky drive account id and password.
6. Once finished, a new Windows Explorer window will open up and show you the contents of your SkyDrive. At this point you can navigate through the folders just like any other folder on your computer.
7. Right click on the “Document” folder and choose create a shortcut on your desktop.
8. Now you can drag the file to the “Document” icon on the desktop and the software will help you to upload the file to the sky drive ^___^
9. To download the file from your sky drive in any computer, just log in to the sky drive and download.

It is time to develop a habit to back up your assignment in online storage. Just in case if you lost your pen drive or forgot to bring it~
enjoy~~ tata~!

I just went for a medical checkup this morning; just some basic tests as it only need blood and urine. I think all my biomed friends definitely know how to do those tests now after 2 months attachment in the hospital labs.
So, those tests involved: too many! pls wiki/google yourself or consult the pro-blogger Suzzane! XD
The fee for the medical checkup is RM100, you can choose whether to have additional checks on some disease-related bacteria (got a list there but I cannot remember =x). Of course, the fee will be more than RM100.
O yeah, when the doctor was introducing the bacterial list, he talked kinda fast. I just heard “菌””菌” “菌” all the time. Brain cannot absorb too many bacterial names in the same time, will definitely hang =.=”
That was funny when he said about one bacterium called "螺旋杆菌".
For those monash students who have taken SCI2010 will definitely know what it is!
Yeah~it is the “直升机 双罗里-helicopter bilori” ! Eh, no lah...It is Helicobacter pylori.
So, when the doctor introduced the 螺旋杆菌, he said that I might not know what the bacterium is. Then I stared at the bacterial name and started to link the name with the stuffs I learnt more than 3 months ago.
All the bacterial names written on the doctor’s paper are short form. Those names are quite blur also as they are written by pencil.
When I was staring at the “Hxxxxxlori”, and prepared to say that I know what the 螺旋杆菌 is, the doctor continued his talking. You know, it happened within 1 second. =.=”
*Helicobacter pylori causes a chronic low-level inflammation of the stomach lining and is strongly linked to the development of duodenal and gastric ulcers and stomach cancer.
After measured my blood pressure (126 over 80 mmHg…is it normal?), it was the time to draw blood. The doctor asked his assistant to help, like preparing syringe, alcohol…Then a girl RUSHed in and shouted excitedly to another assistant who was in the other room.
Saw this; the following words automatic appeared in my mind: “Omg, another Mandy!”
Fortunately, the person who drew my blood was the doctor…phew…
By the way, the doctor tried 3 places only obtained the sufficient blood sample…
He first tried to draw blood from my right hand elbow. When he injected the syringe, I felt like “eh…no that pain wor! Haha!”. Somehow, I saw nothing in the syringe =.=”
Blood drawing from right elbow – FAIL!
The doctor pointed out the reason for the first failure: He said that my vein like to moving around…. orz
He then tried the second place, my left elbow. This time, the doctor aimed carefully and pierced vigorously. It was pain when the needle pierced my vein =.=”
Then I looked curiously at my blood, how it was being drawn and what is the color. It is amazing for me! First time saw my blood in a syringe and it is going to be tested ^__^ so excited eh
Blood drawing from left elbow – Success!
You think it is finished? No Yet.
My blood flew into the syringe with a very low speed. The doctor tried very hard to pull the syringe in order to gain sufficient blood sample. Then I mah looked at the syringe, looked at my blood, looked at doctor’s finger….
Blood volume drawn from left elbow – Insufficient!
The doctor then pointed out the reason behind: He never expected my vein is hard as I am so young…
The doctor felt sorry to the failures…I was very paiseh to tell him, actually I seldom exercise… >___<”
The doctor tried the 3rd place: the vein at the back of my right hand.
Before he drew my blood, he said: “this time the vein won’t move around! Ha!”
Omg…paiseh lah!
This time had a different experience on looking at my blood flowing in a small pipe ^__^
Blood drawing – Finished!
The doctor said that it is the first time he tried 3 times to get the enough blood sample. He expected the youth’s blood should be drawn easily… >____<
Following that, it was the urine sample taking process. Yeah, the advice of the doctor was the same as Suzzane’s blog: Take the middle part of the urine!
Wahaha, it is 18sx to tell you the procedures in detail here. XD
(For those who are interested, pls consult Suzzane as well. She will be very happy to tell you the correct procedures)
O yeah~ samples taking was finished. It needs 4 days to know the result.
So, just wait now lor ! ^__^
